Medella Vina Ranch

Medella Vina Ranch!!!!  Have you heard of it?  If you have not, you need to do some recon my friend.  If my history of Tucson is correct it may have previously been Pantano Stables.  But let me assure you, this is not the old out of date stable.  This East side venue has been transformed into bougie eye candy that will tickle your senses.  The owner has created a lush hidden gem of a garden.  Medella Vina Ranch magically moves you out of Tucson and transports you in a secluded timeless oasis.  You will find Green grass, green shrubs, green, green, green.  In Tucson?  Who knew?

Wine Room

Medella Vina Ranch has a wine room (and beer) with baby goats.  I mean come on!!!  I need to be there NOW!  If any ladies want to do a girls day I am game.  I need wine and baby goats in my life.  But that is not all.  They have Farmers Market on 3rd Sunday of the month, Antique and vintage fair the 1st Sunday of every month, Wednesday night happy hour, and so much more.  Let’s go and support local business and have a great time doing it.

Small World

I met Kim, the bride in this story, at a Bridal Show.  We got to talking and she grew up in a small Michigan town.  I lit up and told her the town I was born in Michigan.  To both of our surprises it was the same little town.  Wow!  What a small world.  So basically we bonded as two girls from the upper mid-west.

Bridal and wedding details

Bridal

Kim’s parents were adorable.  They loved their baby girl.  Kim gave them gifts prior to the ceremony.  She gave cuff links to dad that said, “I loved you first”.  Then she gave both of them personalized handkerchiefs and dad just couldn’t take it anymore.  Adorable…..right?

Best Friend

Kim and Andrews colors were a beautiful cheerful shade of yellow and gray.  She hired a wonderful coordinator for the day. Liz was sweet and wonderful to work with. Her company is Confetti Event Planning. Preparation rooms were equally quaint and bonus they look good as backgrounds in photos.  Medella Vina Ranch thought of everything. Kim and Andrew did a lot of diy for their decor.  Painted wine bottles as centerpieces, cute wine corks for table assignments and Jenga blocks in place of signing book just to name a few.

Medella Vina Ranch has a meandering little path leading the bride and groom to stroll down prior to going by the guests.  Kim’s sweet little pup was supposed to be walking down the aisle, but sadly passed before the big day.  She had a portrait of him up on the altar.  Next to his collar was a sign that said “I loved her first”.  Sniff Sniff.

Guests are treated to a shaded seating location during the ceremony. where they are covered by a large Arbor.  What a brilliant idea in Tucson.

This wedding took place during some very political times around elections.  She had one of my all-time favorite signs.  “Political Free Zone. Leave your opinions at the Door.”  Yaaaaaas!

Medella Vina Ranch has a horse carriage that Kim and Andrew wanted to include in their photos.  In addition to their photos we re-enacted a photo from her parents wedding day.  How precious is that?
